OEE is a calculated performance measurement that contains defect tracking, production performance and machine availability or “uptime”. OEE is a really nice way to study the performance of a given work area, department or plant. Most OEE solutions incorporate cycle time based standards as well as a collection of entry screens for input of production, downtime and defect tracking.
